Gordon’s May Newsletter

May has been an incredibly active month for me, which began in the Arthur Findlay College, where I must say, I had a wonderful time with some of the mediums I know from way back!

Also, it was a pleasure to share the platform with the new President, Jackie Wright.  I know that she will be a great leader and someone who will be respected in her position, as she leads spiritualism on to it’s next evolvement.

It was also early in this month that I moved home again, leaving my lovely house by the Loch to a nice place in the hills above the Clyde Estuary, still in bonnie Argyll.  Though this place is very nice, it’s not really home, so I must wait until my own home is renovated and made right again before I can truly settle.  Still, the dogs love this new place as the walks are truly beautiful and the landscape so different from before.

This month brought back some nice memories of working with Professor Archie Roy at Glasgow University and the Scottish Society of Psychical Research, when I shared the stage with my old friend Trisha Robertson to remember the good professor, his work and good-times shared.

Working with Trisha brought back some very nostalgic times when my mediumship was very young and I was still so very enthusiastic.

Another memory revisited this month was the Mind Body Spirit festival in London, where I gave a talk to promote my new card deck “The Healing Spirits Oracle”.  It had been several years since I took to the stage in Olympia.  Once again, it was good to catch up with more friends Angela and Ron and many others.

May closed for me in my beloved Switzerland, when I gave a class to a group of students whose company I enjoyed very much and who joined me in exploring the workshop created by my old friend Mary Armour, called the Mediums Tool Box.  It was a time to work but also a time to relax and bring the month to a close in a very relaxed way.

Now I get ready for the summer months like everyone else and hope for the joy and healing it can bring.  Summer is a time of beauty, so enjoy it when you can and play like a child on holiday if you get the chance.
