Gordon’s April Newsletter
This has been a lovely month for me. I think because the early part gave me a much-needed time at home and visits from my family, especially my gorgeous granddaughter, Katie-Rose. Being able to paint stones with her or hear all her news about school and friends is such a wonderful grounding for me.
Easter was such a nice family time and included lots of painting and walks in the hills where I felt blessed to see a very majestic stag parade through the landscape before me. It was such a magical sight and something that reminded me about the joys of living in the West of Scotland, how lucky am I.
This month also took me back in time and allowed me to celebrate a special day in London with my friends at Hay House publishers, as we got together at the London book fair to mark the passing of twenty great years for both myself and them. I was the first author signed by the UK office back then and here we all are still doing stuff together!
A big thanks to Tina and Christa in Essen for allowing me to share my teachings in Germany. It has been a once-a-year event for me but a time that always makes me happy because the students who attend are so very special to me.
It was from Germany that I headed straight to Stansted and the Arthur Findlay College, where I gave a demonstration of mediumship at the end of their open week. I thank the new president, Jackie Wright and all her team for making my time there so great. At the college I met up with old friends which brought back lovely memories of times gone by and of many absent friends and acquaintances.
As I walked through the beautiful gardens at the hall, I came across a gentleman who was standing by the old tulip tree which commands the attention of anyone who walks the grounds. I spoke with this man for a moment and from nowhere a message came into my mind from a spirit lady who turned out to be his lovely wife. This was a magical moment in a magical place which reminded me that no matter where we are or whatever is happening in our life, the spirit is ever close.
As we move through this year, I hope you all know that your loved ones in the spirit watch over you and want nothing more for you than to be happy and find joy in this life.
