December with Gordon

It’s that time of year again when we all go rushing around, frantically trying to get everything sorted for the Christmas holiday. I like the month of December because it means being home for me, especially the last two weeks or so. The beginning of the month saw me back in Switzerland with a lovely group of students who looked like they were really enjoying their course in mediumship and who did very well when it came to the art of healing.

Talking about art, it was on my return to the UK, that I experienced my first ever art exhibition in Wales, and I must say it was great. Many thanks to all who came along and for those who bought paintings, which will help to raise funds for the charity I’m supporting, Helping Parents Heal. Several thousand pounds have already been raised through the art and I’m sure Jacqui will let you know more about the goal of our fundraising as we go forward. Thanks again to all who contributed.

Thanks to Terri and all the lovely HPH Mums who joined us in Wales

I believe that the last month of the year is a nice time to reflect on the year that has just been. I commented to a group of people on my last Zoom meeting just this week, that though it may be difficult for some to wander down memory lane at this time of year, remember that memories are like the jewels of our mind and we can take the more beautiful ones out to admire too. It was our late Queen who said. “Grief is the price we pay for love!” I add to this. “It is because we have loved, our loving memories can help us overcome all obstacles because real love can never die.”

I say a big thank you to all my students who have and are still attending my ‘Younity’ course, and to all who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on zoom classes throughout the year. I have met and worked with so many people in 2022, and I have to say, it really has been a blast. So again, thank you all.

I go walking with my dogs in the hills and reconnect with the land I live in. This is where I will reflect most over the holidays. I will also give thanks for everything I have and for all the joy and love I am allowed to experience. The other thing I like to do at this time of year,  is to look at how I can improve aspects of myself before going on to the new year. Every year on the 31st of December, I light a fire and throw in a piece of mistletoe. I make a promise to the Universe, that I will try to better a part of my mind or body in the coming year. The mistletoe is my offering and contract with the higher energies, the promise serves as a reminder that I can always do better and grow where I need to in 2023.

Next year isn’t here yet and I hope to have a nice Christmas with friends and family. I will eat, drink and watch old movies. I’ll laze around and do as little as possible if I’m allowed. I’ll get cuddles and unconditional love from my two gorgeous dogs, who’s tails will wag incessantly when they hear the word “walkies.” This is my ideal Christmas.

I truly wish for all of you, that the Christmas time is merry and bright and that you have a healthy and prosperous New Year.

Much love Gx
