From internationally renowned medium, spiritual teacher and bestselling author Gordon Smith comes a captivating tale about finding your way through death, grief and loss.

Nothing that lives can truly die,' said the stag, 'but we must all experience a winter in our lives, otherwise we haven’t truly lived.'

Following the tragic death of his sister, 10-year-old Dill's life changes forever. In an attempt to escape their grief, Dill and his parents move to his grandmother’s remote cottage in the countryside. Isolated from his family, who are struggling to come to terms with their loss, Dill spends his time exploring the wild landscape with his trusty spaniel, Bramble. He soon learns that life in his new home, the Dip-n-Dells, is anything but lonely.

With the help of his grandmother, Dill learns a magical language that allows him to befriend the animals of the Dip-n-Dells and uncover the secrets of the mystical landscape around him. As his friends in nature help him to understand the cycles of life and death, the cloud of sadness surrounding Dill begins to lift. Determined to share this gift with his parents, Dill and his friends set out to bring light back into their lives. In doing so, he finds out that where love is involved, anything is possible....

Editorial reviews

Gordon Smith’s artful novel Where Two Worlds Meet is a delightful story of a young boy’s adventure into the Spirit World and how the loving and healing force of nature blankets him with its healing touch. A must-read for all parents who have ever wondered what happens to their child when they cross over into the world of light. - James Van Praagh, spiritual medium and author of Talking to Heaven

Gordon Smith’s beautiful new work, ‘Between Two Worlds,’ is a comforting guide to healing after the passing of a loved one that will reassure both parents and siblings that our children in spirit are still right here. Gordon Smith recites this inspiring journey through the intuitive eyes of Dill, whose sister Amber has recently passed of cancer. Although his parents, grandmother, and the entire family are devastated about Amber’s transition, they find solace and support from the magical animals and countryside surrounding them at Moonstone Cottage in the Dip-in-Dells.

This healing story is similar to beloved children’s classics such as ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe,’ and ‘Peter Rabbit,’ containing essential, mystical lessons about the cycles of life and death and the importance of Mother Nature. In it, Dill’s Grandmother Vi and the friendly, enlightened creatures of the Dip-in-Dells lead Dill, along with his mother Rose and his father Tom, on a path towards healing, reigniting the light dimmed by Amber’s passing and proving that love is eternal. I highly recommend this uplifting, healing work.

Words cannot adequately express our gratitude to Gordon as an author, healer, visionary, philanthropist, artist, and huge bright light. His compassion, light-hearted style and accuracy have convinced even the most sceptical of our members that love lives forever.

Gordon's gift is to soothe the grief of the heartbroken, to give them hope. - The Guardian

Dill's journey of self discovery is a truly touching tale. There is something in Where Two Worlds Meet that will resonate with adults and children alike. The magical animals of the Dip-n-Dells and the passing of the seasons help Dill realise the true meaning of life. This is an enchanting story of love conquering all. - Katie Nicholl, journalist, author and broadcaster

Between Two Worlds is a wonderful and uplifting book that will bring
comfort to those dealing with the passing of a loved one. Everyone
will enjoy this tale about the adventures of Dill, his family, and all
of the creatures that live in the magical land of the Dip-in-Dells.

The characters came to life, and I enjoyed reading every page. I
especially loved reading the wisdom relayed through Mrs. Brabbit and
the other magical animals who made their home near the Moonstone
Cottage.

Gordon's comforting words about the cycle of life and using one's
"sense" as a form of communication will hopefully open the minds of
those sceptical of the continuation of life after one transitions to
the hereafter.

Both children and adults will enjoy this book, which will most
certainly heal many parents and families.

 ‘riveting read’

COMMENTING on Gordon’s book, last week Psychic News editor Tony Ortzen said: Over 50 years ago, I attended two three-month courses organised by the National Council for the Training of Journalists, as well as being a trainee reporter on an award-winning weekly paper.

It was drummed into us never to use words like “amazing” because they have been devalued by overuse and lost their value. However, Gordon’s book really is amazing and any other adjective you care to employ.

I have read hundreds if not thousands of psychic books. Gordon’s Where Two Worlds Meet is a skilfully crafted story with a lovely array of characters. The interplay between humans, animals and the seasons is wonderful.

Though I try not to work at weekends, once I began the book it was so captivating that I read it on screen on a very hot Saturday and Sunday when I should have been gardening.

In theory, Where Two Worlds Meet is primarily aimed at children. However, it is such a riveting read that adults will thoroughly enjoy it too. It is for all ages.

Another important aspect is that it will appeal to everyone – convinced Spiritualists and those of other denominations or none at all.

Where Two Worlds Meet is a truly magical tale which brings hope and clarity to the greater realities of life and death in easy to understand terms.

If there were a top twenty list of psychic best sellers, it deserves to go straight to number one. Don’t miss it.

Amazing! - Time Out
